Matching Outfits is a trio of adopted Berliners known for their unique and whimsical take on indie pop, often likened to “a Super 8 film from the family attic.” 🎥✨

Lead singer Linnea Mårtensson crafts lyrics that delve into life’s significant losses and minor inconveniences, blending gut-wrenching emotion with occasional humor. Their sound features sweet harmonies that evolve into discordant freakouts and shout-along choruses. 🎤🎸

Their debut cassette, ‘Band Made Out Of Sand’, gained recognition from cult radio station WFMU and led to a signing with Bar/None Records (home to Yo La Tengo and The Feelies), resulting in the release of their sophomore album, ‘Ditch Me’, on July 25th, 2025. 📀

Interestingly, the band does not wear matching outfits—except when they do! 😄
