Dutch Oven Cooking

Join the Little Pine Friends of Daingerfield State Park or a few Park Rangers to learn how to cook in a Dutch oven and sample some delicious dishes!

Accessibility:

• Parking available at the Dining Hall/Day Use Areas.
• Restroom facilities at the pavilion.
• Drinking water available at the park store.
• Path to the program is paved and mowed grass.

Program Expectations:

Are you interested in learning how to cook with a Dutch oven? Bring the family and join in on the fun! You can bring your own equipment or borrow some from the group (while supplies last).

Schedule:

• Cooking/Demo: 9:00 a.m.
• Food Tasting: 11:00 a.m.

Admission:

Program included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather! Cancellations will be announced on the Daingerfield State Park Facebook Page or you can call park headquarters.
