Educators Night 🍎✨
Calling all educators! 🍎 Whether you teach art, science, math, history, language arts, or anything in between, WAMA invites homeschool, K–12, post‑secondary, and informal educators to explore our museum spaces and meet the education team.
Learn about field trips, group tours, museum experiences, and classroom‑ready resources designed to support creativity and cross‑curricular learning.
This year’s Educator Night features new materials inspired by The Bayou Collection by George Rodrigue. Discover how Rodrigue’s atmospheric bayou paintings and Cajun folklore themes can enrich lessons in visual arts, storytelling, environmental science, and place‑based learning.
Educators will receive access to fresh Bayou Collection teaching guides, including visual literacy prompts, folklore connections, and activities that link Rodrigue’s work to our own coastal ecosystems.
