When their mother and father are killed as political dissidents in Guatemala, teenagers Rosa (Gutiérrez) and Enrique (Villalpando) must endure the treacherous path to the United States. 🌎 Restored by the Academy Film Archive and registered by the Library of Congress, El Norte is a Pan-American epic and should be considered essential viewing.

Director Gregory Nava will host a Q&A after the Friday and Saturday screenings and will introduce his film on Sunday.
