English guided tour of the villa Winternitz

Join us for a guided tour of the Winternitz Villa every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.!

The villa, designed by the renowned architect Adolf Loos and his partner Karel Lhota (the author of all elements in the interior), is a cultural monument built between 1931-32 for lawyer Josef Winternitz and his family. The three-storey house is located in Smíchov; the family lived there until 1941.

During the tour, you'll experience Loos' distinctive architecture and his concept of Raumplan, all while receiving insights from our knowledgeable guides. Learn about the family's fascinating history and the villa's revival, which now hosts various cultural events.
