Every Wednesday this spring, we’ll be offering classes in Forró and Samba de Gafieira! Starting from the basics, we’ll progressively build your skills in a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

What is Forró? 🎶

Forró is a captivating couple dance and a musical genre that hails from Northeast Brazil. Over the years, it has embraced various musical beats and dance styles, evolving from its working-class roots to a celebrated international dance form.

What is Samba de Gafieira? 🕊️

Originating in Rio de Janeiro, Samba de Gafieira blends smooth movements and elegant footwork with playful interaction, all set to the lively beats of classic Brazilian samba music. It’s designed for everyone—from newcomers to seasoned dancers looking to refine their skills.
