EYES WIDE SHUT W/ Seefeel (CONCERT & CLUBNIGHT)

EYES WIDE SHUT returns to Wibar on Saturday May 9th for a special edition that unfolds in two parts, one continuous arc from concert to clubnight.

From 21:00 to 23:00, we welcome Seefeel for an audiovisual live show on the main system. Few acts have shaped the space between guitar music and electronic experimentation like they have. Emerging in the early nineties, Seefeel became the first guitar-led project signed to Warp Records, quietly breaking the unwritten rules of what a dance label could be. Their music has always lived in the in between. Ethereal echoes, dubby harmonics, bass-heavy undercurrents and atmosphere that feels physical. Timeless, but never nostalgic.
After years of silence and rare appearances, Seefeel returned to Warp with Everything Squared, picking things back up as if no time has passed while still sounding startlingly current. On May 9th they bring that world to Wibar, immersive, detailed, and built for full attention.

At 23:00 the night shifts without stopping. The concert dissolves into a clubnight that carries the same spirit of curiosity and deep listening, just with the lights lower and the room moving.
Downstairs, mad miran headlines. A true shape shifter with an instinct for momentum, she threads breakbeats, electro, IDM and leftfield club music into sets that feel alive and unpredictable, always guided by energy rather than genre. She is joined by Girish, embracing risk and fluidity over formula, and Maria Cue, a fearless selector and sonic adventurer whose sets move between intricate rhythms and unexpected turns, always keeping the floor alert.

Upstairs, the ambient room returns for those who want to step out of the rush and into something more spacious. North Not South bring textured, emotionally resonant soundscapes shaped by off beat rhythms and evolving synth work. Leiden’s own Jonas Nuane guides the room through a vinyl-only set, grounding the space in warmth and tactility. Rojo Y Rosa weaves sound together with live spoken word, adding a human pulse that drifts between poetry and atmosphere.

Two rooms, one whole. A night that begins in full focus and ends in collective release.
