Face to Face: Portrait & Sculpture Camp

📅 AGES: 6th-12th grade

Step up and meet your subject! Face to Face is a week-long camp designed for teens eager to dive into the art of human expression through drawing, painting, and sculpture. 🖌️✨ Participants will create bold and captivating images along with three-dimensional sculptures of people and faces, inspired by the summer exhibition featuring the works of Vitus Shell.

Campers will explore a variety of materials—from clay and wire to pencil, ink, and paint—while studying proportions, gestures, and expressions. Each project encourages students to push beyond realism and explore style, abstraction, and personal voice, all while gaining hands-on experience with professional art techniques. 💪🖼️

By the end of the week, participants will walk away with a portfolio showcasing striking portraits and sculptures that encapsulate the human face in all its complexity and creativity! 🌟

💸 Early Bird Cost:

• $210 for AMA Reciprocal Level and higher donors
