Join us for the final readings of Magnificent Desolation! We warmly invite you to experience this unique event, featuring readings in both English and Swedish.

• Swedish: Karin Bähler Lavér & Bereket Hailemariam at 17:30

Featured Artists:

• Hanni Kamaly: An interdisciplinary artist based in Malmö, Kamaly investigates how the ‘Other’ is shaped through images and language, blending historical research with a sculptural approach to illuminate marginalized histories.
• Santiago Mostyn: An artist known for exploring narrative entanglements and new understandings of place, with works spanning films, texts, and exhibitions. Originally from Zimbabwe and Trinidad, he is currently based in Stockholm.
• Karin Bähler Lavér: A curator and artistic director of skēnē, she has worked collaboratively with Susanna Marcus Jablonski since 2018.
• Bereket Hailemariam: A Malmö-based author, poet, and playwright with a Master's in Literary Composition from HDK-Valand. His latest play, Teorier om människan, was recently performed at Backa Theatre.

About the Exhibition:
Magnificent Desolation intertwines performance with a staged environment, where language, image, and topography coexist. The exhibition expands Susanna Marcus Jablonski’s sculptural practice, presenting “sculpture” not just as objects but as conditions shaping interactions in physical space.

Enjoy the exhibition's immersive atmosphere, open from 13:00 on the day of the readings. Please arrive on time, as the front door will be closed during the sessions.
