This Thursday, April 16th, FLOOR settles into a deeper gear. Sigurd CPH gives the whole night to one selector, which means the music can stretch out and the atmosphere can evolve without being reset every hour. It is a format built on trust, patience, and the pleasure of hearing a room respond in real time. It is made for people who actually want to dance.

On the 16th, we’ve invited a veteran who’s produced, mixed, and remixed so many pieces of music that he makes up his set time entirely of his own productions.

Phase5 brings decades of experience rooted in the earliest years of Copenhagen hip-hop, with a musical reach that extends through reggae and electronic music as well. He understands not just tracks but also context, knowing when to place weight, restraint, and release at the right moment. There is history in his selections, but nothing static about them, and his sets feel sharp, spacious, and fully alive in the room. His 40+ years of experience make him an asset behind the decks, as he’s also expanded his music preferences and selections over the years. Expect surprises and a mix of timeless classics and obscure danceable hits you’ve never danced to before.
