Free introduction: “The Unknown Gaudí”

About the event

Introduction

What if you could understand not only what Gaudí built, but also why he built it that way? 🤔

Gaudí: Back to the Origins at Sinsa House is an interactive and immersive exhibition that allows you to explore Gaudí's life and work, and even try to embody Gaudí for a brief moment. However, exhibitions have their limitations. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to delve deeper into his thought process and follow the inspiration he provides.

This free introductory session is a gift from our founder, Sofy Abramchuk, who has spent 8 years studying Gaudí's work, analyzing his motivations, and understanding his mindset. She has shared the uniqueness of Gaudí's philosophy at conferences, universities, and companies worldwide.

In this 30-minute session, Sofy will share insights from her research and highlight key points from her most popular lectures. You will begin to understand where Gaudí's ideas originated, how he worked, and what he comprehended that others did not.

As you start to see the roots of his originality, you will also understand why learning to create in a similar manner is worthwhile. 🌱

This is what we are building here in Seoul. Gaudí's Workshop is a learning space located next to COEX, where you can practice Gaudí's creative methods through workshops, masterclasses, and tours. This session serves as the gateway to all of that. We will showcase the programs available in August, allowing you to choose what suits you best.

🎟️ This introductory session is free for a limited time. Participation is only available to those with a valid exhibition ticket (online or printed).

About Gaudí's Workshop: Beyond the Origins

Visitors to the exhibition see what Gaudí created. Here, you will learn to create in his style. The program is based on the Origin8 method, developed over 8 years at the Gaudí Foundation in Barcelona, rooted in Gaudí's principle that originality consists in returning to the origin. This method has been taught across five continents in various companies, universities, and foundations.

Throughout August, the gallery will transform into a working studio. There will be free introductory sessions like this one, a lecture series interpreting Gaudí through four returns, hands-on masterclasses, workshops where you can design and print an object, children's sessions, curator-led after-hours tours, and a closing salon without phones. Each session is complete on its own and serves as a gateway to the next.

Who is this program for? Designers, founders, marketers, students, parents—anyone who creates and wishes to make something original rather than derivative. No design experience is necessary. All dates and registration can be found in the calendar.

📸 By attending, you agree to be photographed for program documentation and promotion. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us at the door.
