Fireside Collective, inspired by the vibrant art scene and natural beauty of Asheville, North Carolina, has evolved over a decade into a unique blend of bluegrass, folk, rock, and funk. With original members Joe Cicero (guitar), Jesse Iaquinto (mandolin), Tommy Maher (resonator guitar), and Carson White (bass), they began their journey in 2014. After a hiatus due to COVID, they returned with a fresh sound influenced by jambands like The Grateful Dead, featuring improvisation and dynamic setlists. The addition of Michael Tillis on drums in late 2023 has further expanded their sound, incorporating funk, classic rock, and even elements of techno and world music. By the end of 2024, they have truly become a hybrid band, blending various genres into a colorful amalgam of original music.
