Gala Open-air koncert

Since its inception in 2019, the academy has emphasized orchestral playing, a key aspect of Otakar Ševčík's musical philosophy. The festival orchestras are guaranteed by Jakub Hrůša, the Music Director of the Royal London Opera House and Chief Conductor of both the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra starting in 2027. During both weeks of the festival, audiences will also be introduced to the talented young conductor Jan Sedláček, who made his debut at the Prague Spring Festival this year.
