GLENROTHAN - starts 6.10pm
Director Brian Cox

Set against the sweeping highlands of Scotland, Glenrothan is a heartfelt drama about roots, reconciliation, and the ties that refuse to be broken. The story follows two estranged brothers who return to their hometown after years apart, each carrying the weight of old conflicts and unspoken regrets. Drawn back by the passing of their father, they find themselves not only confronting family history but also rediscovering the power of community in a place where tradition runs deep.

THE CHRISTOPHERS - starts 8.20pm
Director Steven Soderbergh
Cast Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel

At its centre is Julian Sklar (McKellen), a once celebrated painter now living in reclusion, whose unfinished works become the focus of a covert scheme orchestrated by his estranged children. Hoping to secure their inheritance, they enlist Lori (Coel), a skilled art restorer, to quietly complete the paintings in his distinctive style, blurring the line between preservation and imitation.
What begins as an act of forgery gradually unfolds into something more intricate, as Julian and Lori enter a shifting battle of intellect and influence. As their dynamic deepens, questions of authorship, authenticity and ownership come to the fore, revealing the uneasy relationship between artistic creation and commercial value.
