About Goofy Geese:
The Bergen-based duo of Mats Jøger and Kaja Malena Håvik met while studying music therapy at the University of Bergen, where a shared musical understanding and deep love of Brazilian bossa nova formed the foundation for both a close friendship and creative collaboration. Through warm harmonies, playful arrangements, and an intuitive approach to songwriting, they've developed a distinctive and recognizable musical expression. They debuted with the EP "Bouquet" (2022), which gained international attention, followed by their debut album "Gúfigis" (2024) featuring tracks like "Bam Bam", "Sensational Bliss", and "Mother". They are now performing with their fresh second album, "I Don't Feel Like Speaking Now", continuing to explore new musical landscapes with the same playfulness and curiosity that has defined them from the start.
