Welcome to Gothenburg Toastmasters Club 🎤

Would you like to learn and practice public speaking skills in a warm, supportive English-speaking environment? 🌍

Both experienced professionals and beginners can benefit from our meetings. You will learn and practice public speaking in a friendly atmosphere with members who share the same goal — to become better communicators while having fun! Guests are welcome to observe or participate in the impromptu part of the meeting.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop where participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.

In the first part of the meeting, you will listen to prepared speeches by members. This is followed by a coffee break, and the second part includes impromptu talks on assigned topics (unprepared/spontaneous speeches that even you as a guest can volunteer to participate in!). You do not need to prepare anything for the meeting.

There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations, and this feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. 📈

While the meeting starts at 18:30, it is advisable to arrive earlier as the doors will close at 18:30. Join us for a pre-meeting mingle! ☕
