Grief Circle

Grief Circle

About the event

Grief isn't just for death; it can arise from various life changes, such as the end of a relationship or a job loss. In this circle, we embrace grief instead of rushing past it.

Every two weeks, we gather for an hour to create a safe space for any grief you may be holding, whether recent or old, named or unnamed. No loss is too small, and none is required to be recent.

Session Structure:

  1. Drop-in Meditation: A short meditation to ground ourselves.
  2. Sharing & Journaling: Guided prompts will be provided, but speaking is not mandatory.
  3. Gentle Crafting: Engage in playful activities to express grief.

This is a space to be witnessed, not fixed. Reflect and leave feeling a little lighter.

Doors open 15 minutes before start time. Late entry is not permitted to maintain the safety of the space.

Optional Items to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing
  • A journal and pen
  • A water bottle
  • Sensory supports or fidgets for grounding
  • A photo, heirloom, or small token representing your grief, to keep near you or place in our collective space.
