Guided Tour of the Brummel House

Join us for a guided tour that explores the fascinating reconstruction of the original one-storey Brummel House into a two-generation dwelling for Mr. and Mrs. Hedwig Liebstein Brummel.

The tour begins in a stair hall inspired by Goethe's house in Weimar, leading to a hallway featuring a food preparation area. You'll see a bedroom equipped with built-in furniture and a cherry wood wardrobe, which opens up to a spacious bathroom.

As you pass back through a small hallway, you'll discover the living rooms, complete with a monumental fireplace and a terrace that overlooks the beautiful pear tree canopy. The enfilade connects other rooms, including the dining room and Mrs. Liebstein's charming blue parlor adjacent to the bedroom.
