Haworth Festival Balboa Weekend 2026

Join us for a delightful weekend of Balboa dancing amidst the stunning Worth Valley in West Yorkshire as part of the July 2026 Haworth Festival! 🎉

After last year's fantastic turnout, we're back with a fresh spin on the experience! Our activities will take place during the second weekend of the main arts festival, all centered at the charming Old School Rooms in the heart of the village. Expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with social dancing, optional taster classes, and live music!

Event Highlights:

• Circular Walk: Enjoy a scenic walk over the moors to Brontë Falls on Friday (weather permitting), followed by breakfast and a leisurely lunch stop on the way back to Haworth. Don’t forget your hiking boots and dancing shoes! 🌄🥾
• Evening Social Dances: Dance the night away with live bands including Cactusville Jazz on Friday and David Broad & The Meanwood Valley Stompers on Saturday. 🎷
• Taster Classes: Participate in optional classes throughout the weekend delivered by our fantastic volunteer teaching team!
• Sunday Tea Dance: Enjoy an early afternoon dance with live music from Hot Club of Halifax, concluding with a relaxing “After Party” session featuring music suited for Slow Bal & Blues Dance. 🍵🕺

Important Note: Full Weekend Passes are sold out, but limited individual registrations for the evening social dances will be opening soon!
