Hm..

Hm... is a Czech band based in Prague. They have released four albums so far (two of them on the independent label g.parrot, the last two CDs were released by Hm... themselves) and one demo album (available for download on their website). Their songs are mostly set to music texts by Czech poets, both classical (Jaroslav Seifert, Josef Kainar, Jan Neruda, Fráňa Šrámek, Antonín Sova, Jiří Wolker, Jiří Orten, František Gellner, Ivan Blatný, Jan Zábrana, František Hrubín), as well as contemporary poets (Vít Kremlička, Pavel Šrut), and translations of French poetry (Jean-Arthur Rimbaud, Guillaume Apollinaire). Other lyrics are by the band's lyricist Petr Kotouš or by members of the band and their friends.
