Houston Witch Paddle 2026 - Third Annual

Join us for Houston's third annual Witch Paddle!
Inspired by the growing popularity of "witch paddles" nationwide, we are holding Houston's event on Sat 10/31 (rain date Sun 11/1).
Our first two paddles were a huge success, with 20+ paddlers, and were featured in the Houston Chronicle.

Dress up in your finest Halloween attire, ideally witch or wizard themed! 🧙‍♂️✨

Event Details:

• Launch Location: Allen's Landing, historic birthplace of Houston
• Paddle Route: An out-and-back paddle up Buffalo Bayou through Buffalo Bayou Park (to Waugh, or Shepherd if you're feeling adventurous) and back to Allen's Landing.
• Rental Craft: Access to rental paddle-craft from Buffalo Bayou Kayaks, renting kayaks and paddleboards. Contact them to secure your craft!
• Time: Launch around 10 AM and finish by 2 PM. This is an easy, no-stress route suitable for all paddle crafts.

Important: Be sure to bring your own gear (including life vests), unless you rent from Buffalo Bayou Kayaks.
