We are immensely grateful to welcome indigenous guests from the Amazon rainforest for a heartfelt gathering that will showcase the living traditions of the Yawanawá and Huni Kuĩ peoples of Brazil.

🌟 Our Esteemed Guests:

• Wãnu Yawanawá: Hailing from the Yawanawá territory, Wãnu has been steeped in her tradition since childhood, learning from shaman Tatá and her aunt, Hushahu Yawanawá. A talented musician, she creatively infuses traditional songs with the guitar, crafting beautiful melodies rooted in her ancestry.

• Dua Ninawa Huni Kuĩ: A leader from Xikukurumim village, he is deeply entrenched in his culture's spiritual and musical practices. As the son of shaman Tume and teacher Ibã Sales, Dua preserves his heritage through original compositions and innovative artistry.

This event is open to all ages and also offers an opportunity for respectful Hapé ceremonies (please bring a bucket if you're interested).
