In this captivating event, Robert Smolík and Veronika Vlková delve into the profound legacy of Joseph Beuys, an artist, performer, and educator whose ideas revolutionized the understanding of art as an integral part of life and a tool for societal change. In the Glow of Lightning fuses the realms of theater, exhibition, and ritual, creating an inviting space for exploration.

Participants are welcomed into a 'muddy' encounter with art—an immersive experience where objects hold the potential for transformation. In a reflective dialogue, Smolík and Vlková explore ways to renew our connection with the Earth and its diverse communities. This work is a continuation of their collaboration with Terén in the acclaimed production Návštěva (The Visit), which has graced stages in South Korea, Mexico, Finland, Croatia, Slovakia, and various other festivals across the region.
