This insightful meetup will delve into how our connections and surroundings influence our thoughts, emotions, and journeys through life. Using the subway system as a metaphor, we will reflect on the various “lines” we have traveled, the perspectives we’ve encountered, and how our social circles shape our identity and beliefs.

Prologue: Introductions & Icebreaker (3:00–3:15 PM)

We'll kick off with an informal introduction to help everyone feel relaxed and engaged. Consider how your life mirrors a subway line, sharing your experiences with the people part of your journey.

Part 1: Reflection & Open Discussion (3:15–3:45 PM)

This segment focuses on enhancing self-awareness. You’ll delve into:

• The environments that shaped your thinking
• Key moments that shifted your perspective
• Whether your current surroundings expand or reinforce your beliefs

Discussions may begin quietly or in pairs before opening up to the larger group.

Part 2: Conversation Circles (3:45–4:45 PM)

Choose one or two conversation circles that resonate with you:

• Work & Purpose
• Relationships
• Emotional Expression
• Identity & Independence

Each circle will investigate how your social environment has impacted that particular aspect of your life, with guided questions fostering deeper reflection and meaningful discussions.

Part 3: New Lines and Experiences (4:45–5:00 PM)

Engage in casual conversations to share perspectives among attendees. This is a chance to step onto a new “line” and explore how others have been influenced by their environments. Time permitting, we will conclude with a brief reflection on your key takeaways and the new “lines” you are inspired to explore.
