Session Details:

Session #1: Introduction to Fox Chasing and Riding in Groups

📅 Date: Saturday, August 29
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.
📍 Location: A Moment in Time Farm, Leonardtown - Main Arena

• Overview: Start with an "on the ground" introduction covering etiquette, terminology, and expectations. Followed by a mounted session in the ring where riders will practice riding in groups. Two riding groups will be available: a walk/trot/canter pace and a walk/trot pace. Snacks and drinks will be provided! 🍏🥤

Session #2: Introduction to the Hounds

📅 Date: Saturday, September 5
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.
📍 Location: A Moment in Time Farm, Leonardtown - Main Arena

• Overview: This session includes a mounted introduction to the hounds in the ring, followed by group riding with the hounds. A great way for horses to get accustomed to hounds in a non-hunting scenario. Stay for snacks, drinks, and a Q&A session! 🐶🍪

Session #3: Early Season Hunt

📅 Date: Saturday, September 26
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.
📍 Location: DLB Kennels, Mt. Victoria - Mill Run Rd, Mt. Victoria, MD 20661

• Overview: Experience a "pre-season" fox hunt with three fields available: first (walk, trot, canter, and jumping), second (walk, trot, occasional canter), and hilltopping (walk and occasional trot). Instructors will be present in all fields. Approximately a 2-hour ride followed by an informal tailgate! 🎉🍔
