Welcome to Inwood Canoe Club's Open House for the 2025 season! Every Sunday from May 25 to August 31, we invite you to embark on guided 20-minute kayak adventures on the stunning Hudson River, right near the iconic George Washington Bridge!

Important Notes:

• Season Waiver: If you’re planning to kayak with us, don’t forget to complete your 2025 Season Waiver before your first visit!
• No Open House on July 13: Join us on Saturday, July 12 instead, for City of Water Day!

Paddle Details:

• Sign-up begins in person at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis for our three guided trips:
  • Wave 1: Arrive by 9:45 a.m., Launch at 10:00 a.m.
  • Wave 2: Arrive by 10:30 a.m., Launch at 10:45 a.m.
  • Wave 3: Arrive by 11:15 a.m., Launch at 11:30 a.m.

What to Expect:

• Kayak in one of our 12 sit-on-top (SOT) boats or tandem kayaks for two 🛶.
• Enjoy a group paddle with friends, family, or make new connections in our spacious "canoemaran" that accommodates six guests and two club members!

Additional Information:

• Swim Requirement: All guests must be able to swim.
• Age Requirement: Minimum of 8 years old (Guests under 18 must have a parent or guardian present).
• We provide the boat, paddle, and PFD (life vest) — no experience necessary!
• Dress in clothes and shoes that can get wet and leave valuables at the boathouse (not responsible for lost items).
• No pets are allowed during Open House.
