Lauderdale, a 2025 inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, is set to release his 38th and 39th albums in 2026: Country Super Hits Volume 2 and a bluegrass collection titled The Birds Know.

His journey began with his major label debut, Planet of Love in 1991, which paved the way for international touring and established him as a top-tier songwriter on Music Row. 🎤

His songs have been recorded by legends such as George Strait, Patty Loveless, George Jones, the Chicks, and many more. Between 2004 and 2013, he collaborated with Robert Hunter, a songwriter from the Grateful Dead, producing six albums together.

Lauderdale has also worked with notable artists like Buddy Miller, Elvis Costello, Donna the Buffalo, and Ralph Stanley. In 2016, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association and has won two Grammys in the Best Bluegrass Album category. 🏆
