John C. Campbell Folk School's 50th Annual Fall Festival

This cherished festival has been a tradition since 1974, happening every first full weekend of October. Explore our beautiful 270-acre campus featuring:

• 🎨 230 craft vendors and 29 food vendors
• 🏺 Demonstrations by nearly 75 makers showcasing both traditional and contemporary crafts
• 🎶 Two stages filled with local and regional music and dance performances
• 🏠 Community Room activities in the historic Keith House, where you can engage hands-on with Appalachian traditions

Each year, over 13,000 visitors from across the Southern Appalachian region, including Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, come together to celebrate community and creativity.
