About the Event:

It's growing season for vegetables, leadership, and community! This year, we also focus on protecting our democracy and our right to vote.

Join Chicago Women in Green (WIG) in the Fraser C. Robinson Picnic Area at the Obama Presidential Center.

We'll hear from the Chicago Botanic Garden and Urban Growers Collective about their work in the gardens, and from Leslie Bowles of the League of Conservation Voters on pro-environment candidates to watch this fall.

Good to know:

• Free and open to women and all who identify as women.
• RSVP required.
• Museum access is not included, but the 19-acre campus has plenty to explore.
• The on-site restaurant stays open afterward; pay your own way. We're also exploring a group reservation there, more on that soon.
