Juneteenth Experience - Where We Stay — Exhibition Opening Reception

Join us for the Juneteenth Experience 2026 with the visual art exhibition “Where We Stay”! ✊🏾 Curated by Tayina Deravile, this exhibition features nine talented Broward-based visual artists who explore the essence of home within Black communities through themes of family, memory, adornment, personal lived experience, and cultural legacy.

This exhibition honors the rich history of the Sistrunk neighborhood and pays tribute to the legacy of Dr. James and Daisy Sistrunk, who welcomed jazz musicians, dignitaries, artists, and community leaders into their home.
