The Friends of Brower Park, in collaboration with community partner organizations, proudly presents Juneteenth in Brower Park 2026: I Am Somebody! This engaging and FREE family-friendly event, themed "I Am Somebody", pays tribute to Jesse Jackson's impactful poem urging respect and self-worth for all, regardless of circumstances.

What to Expect:

• 🎶 Live Performances: Enjoy stirring performances from the Brooklyn United Marching Band, the Medgar Evers College Preparatory School Choir, and a dance showcase by Brooklyn Ballet.
• 📚 Storytime with Tammy Hall and a jazz performance by the Alexandria DeWalt Quartet.
• 🎨 Interactive Activities & Visual Art featuring contributions from various organizations such as AARP, the Crown Heights North Association, and more.
• 📖 Free Book Giveaways courtesy of Brooklyn Book Bodega.
