Killer Queen kicked off their journey with public shows at London University, following in the footsteps of the iconic real Queen. They quickly made a name for themselves, securing a residency at London’s Strand Theatre, which was groundbreaking for a tribute band to perform in the West End. Their ascent continued as they were honored with the title of Worldwide Best Tribute Band at an awards ceremony hosted by Suggs from Madness!
🎶 Not only that, but they also achieved a No. 1 hit by recreating Queen’s harmonies for Fatboy Slim’s track “The Real Life.” As their popularity soared across Europe, they graced major venues like Ahoy and Forest National Arena—sites that hosted classic Queen concert recordings.
Killer Queen joined forces with Björn Again and The Bootleg Beatles for a show at Waverley Stadium in Edinburgh, leading to their selection to perform in a re-staged Live Aid concert in Malta, hosted by Sir Bob Geldof. They've even taken their show to the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and sold out packed arenas throughout Europe, including cities like Stavanger, Cardiff, and Glasgow!
🌟 Looking ahead to 2024, expect an amazing arena tour in Lithuania and more exhilarating performances. Lead singer Patrick Myers reflects, “The journey has been amazing! We thought it would just be a summer, but this addiction to performing these songs has kept us going.”
