Kirtan with Anthony
Join us for a 90-minute guided community event to explore various forms of meditation and the devotional aspects of Yogi/Buddhist traditions.
Meditation (dhyฤna) helps cultivate inner awareness through meditation and breath work. Weโll begin with an introduction to accessible techniques followed by a guided meditation.
Chanting & Singing (Kirtan) is a communal, devotional music practice. Both new and experienced practitioners are welcome to participate in guided group chanting and call-and-response singing, accompanied by a harmonium.
About Anthony
Yoga and Buddhism have been integral to Anthony's life since childhood, influenced by Southern California communities that brought these lineages from India. His practice has been shaped by Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga and the devotional forms of Zen and Tibetan Buddhism. Anthony believes that committing fully to your practice allows your body and breath to become your greatest teachers. Guided by the wisdom of his teachers, including Shayna Liebbe, Megan Bello, Ram Dass, and Krishna Das, he invites you to suspend expectations, expand your awareness, and explore practice as a path to deeper understanding.
