With a legacy spanning three albums and countless concerts across Europe and the USA, Lack has earned their place as one of Copenhagen's most distinctive and explosive bands. Their unique sound effortlessly blends post-hardcore, indierock, and film noir music, propelled by Thomas Burø's signature high-pitched vocals.

After a hiatus in 2008 (shortly after releasing Saturate Every Atom), Lack reunited in 2021 for two sold-out shows in Copenhagen and Odense, followed by numerous performances, including Copenhell in 2024. Band members have since played in numerous acts including Rising, Tvivler, Total Heels, Anchorless, and No Light. Without the pressure of promises, they began crafting new music, exploring their artistic relevance years later. The result? Nine powerful tracks recorded live in a single room in a historic farmhouse in Odsherred, delving into work as a human condition and the fundamental compromise of creating a meaningful existence.

Each new Lack album has historically marked a break with expectations set by the previous release—it has never been Lack's raison d'être to please. This album is no exception, yet it builds on the band's unmistakable identity.

This self-titled album will be released on vinyl on September 11, 2026, through the Copenhagen DIY label Dream Bureau. The album showcases their evolution while maintaining their unmistakable identity. Following the release, Lack will perform concerts in Denmark, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
