Latin Night Social at Motion Arts Center

Join Motion Arts Center in San Mateo for a lively Latin Night filled with dancing, fun, and community! Each Friday night begins with beginner-friendly dance classes, followed by a social party featuring Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia music spun by a live DJ.

Classes are open to all levels—no partner or prior experience is required. Instructors create a supportive and upbeat environment where everyone can feel comfortable learning and moving to the rhythm. Whether you're just starting or want to sharpen your steps, these sessions are a great way to connect and grow your skills.

The studio features a beautiful hardwood floor, mood lighting, air conditioning, and a professional sound system to keep the energy high all night long.

Typical Friday Night Schedule:
7:00 PM – Latin Motion Fundamentals (All Levels)
8:00 PM – Beginner Salsa Class
8:00 PM – Beginner Bachata Class
9:00 PM to Midnight – Latin Social Dance Party with Live DJ

Parking: Free street parking and access to city-owned garages after 6 PM. The Kiku Public Parking Garage (400 E. 5th Avenue) is just two blocks from the studio.
