• Richard Sennett: An esteemed urban thinker and planner, Richard is renowned for his influential works including The Fall of Public Man, Flesh and Stone, and Respect. With decades of experience advising urban programs for the United Nations, he has earned prestigious accolades, including the Hegel and Spinoza prizes and an honorary doctorate from Cambridge University.

• Janet Sanz: Drawing on her extensive experience in municipal governance in Barcelona, Janet will discuss how political negotiation, coalition-building, and urban transformation facilitate the legitimacy of commons-based practices. She serves as the Vice President of Climate Action and Strategic Planning for the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.
