We typically keep these events agenda-light; we like to bring icebreakers and prizes, and give folks a chance to meet eachother and also meet the Miter team and to learn about what they're building.

About our Co-Host, Miter 🔲:
Miter is a San Francisco–based startup building software that helps construction contractors run their businesses, from payroll and compliance to job costing, HR, and field operations.
Construction is a $2T industry, and only ~20% of it runs on cloud software today. Miter is rebuilding the core systems that power roads, bridges, housing, energy systems, schools, and data centers, helping contractors control job costs, stay compliant, and scale their teams.
Since launching in 2022, Miter has grown to thousands of customers and tens of millions in ARR. They’ve raised $50M+ in VC funding, and a significant portion of that capital is going toward expanding the product roadmap and scaling the engineering team.
Miter is now just over 101 employees total, and 34% of the company identifies as women or nonbinary (34/101). Their engineering team is scaling quickly; they went from ~7 to 20 engineers in 2025, and are targeting 45 engineers by the end of 2026. While the engineering team is currently 2/20 women/NB folks, they’re intentionally investing in expanding that representation by working with Leopard to grow their pipeline and hire strong engineers from our community 💜
