LIGHTLESS, Nàire, Glare of the Sun

🎶 LIGHTLESS
Originating as a solo project by Christian, Lightless evolved into a band based in Dresden, Germany, in late 2021. Their music uniquely blends Doom and Black Metal, with influences from Sludge and Post Metal. The songwriting process typically unfolds during jam sessions, resulting in a dynamic sound that shifts between harsh and heavy sections, complemented by atmospheric clean and drone parts that create vast landscapes of melancholy. The lyrics reflect everyday life and societal issues, addressing conflicts, wars, political extremism, corruption, climate change, and the destruction of habitats.

In 2022, after consolidating their first songs, Lightless performed several shows, leading to the release of their session EP “Descent to Insignificance” in August 2022. This garnered recognition in the local scene and opened doors for more live performances. They have since played numerous shows in 2023 and 2024, sharing the stage with notable acts and gaining recognition beyond their home state. Their debut full-length album, “A Foreseen Loss,” was recorded in winter 2024/25 and released on April 30, 2025, followed by a tour in the Czech Republic and additional concerts across Germany and six other Western European countries.

Hailing from Austria, Nàire delivers unforgiving and aggressive Post-Metal/Sludge, addressing the exploitation of the earth and its resources. Their sound evokes feelings of hopelessness, wrath, and anguish.

🌌 Glare of the Sun
Founded in 2013, Glare of the Sun is a German-Austrian Post and Doom Metal band known for their atmospheric soundscapes and the interplay between heavy, dark, and melodic passages. The band, formed in Traunwalchen, consists of Christoph Stopper (vocals), Gerald Huber (guitar, vocals), Martin Baumann (guitar), Tobias Schwab (bass), and Franz Ebert (drums). Their debut album, Soil, released in 2017, established them in the European Doom and Post-Metal scene. Their third studio album, Tal, released in September 2024, combines orchestral elements with heavy guitars, expanding their sound palette.
