Linocut 102: 2-Color Printing

You’ve picked up your carving tools, made a couple of prints, and maybe tried a new ink color—so what’s next? Join us for Linocut 102 where we will explore 2-Color Printing!

This class will include two 2.5-hour sessions and a 30-minute break for snacks, hydration, and rest.

Building on the basics from Linocut 101, we will dive deeper into carving techniques, design strategies for 2-color printing, and registration techniques for uniform prints. This art form is a practice in repetition and patience—when treated well, your tools and vision will reward you!

After this session, you will not only create unique 2-Color linocut prints but also gain the confidence to make even more!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to:
✂️ Consider multiple layers when designing
📋 Create registration templates for your 2-color prints
🖨️ Ink up and pull prints!

Perfect for those who've covered the basics, explored on their own, and want to expand their skills! You'll leave with carved blocks and unique prints to take home!

HOW TO FIND US
Our studio is located in the Noodle Factory building at 21-07 41st Avenue. Upon arrival, please scan the Alpha Touch QR code on the door and find The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in. Once inside, take the elevator to Floor 2 and locate us in Studio #213.

MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a Masks Required space. 😷 We run air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don’t worry—we'll have them available at the door.

REFUND POLICY
