This film offers a unique glimpse into two local companies committed to producing original works while forging deep connections through the power of art. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in a stimulating discussion with the director, Emma K. McDonald, after the screening!

Emma, an artist from Boston, MA, is making her directorial debut with this project, which serves as her capstone for her M.A. in communication (digital media) from Merrimack College. Drawing from her experiences as a film actor and a dedicated crew of friends, she delves into the invaluable impact of community theatre and the bonds it cultivates among diverse individuals.

Through her lens, Emma highlights the passion and resourcefulness of the New Hampshire theater community, aiming to inspire greater engagement with local productions. 🎉 With many theatres historically underfunded, every contribution helps sustain these artistic endeavors.
