An ambient gathering that begins like a distant call — echoing across the hills between Kenya and Tanzania — slowly unfolding, connecting landscapes, rituals, and communities through deep listening.

Across the vast lands of Kenya, the Maasai people have lived in deep relationship with the earth for generations — moving with their cattle across the savanna, guided by ancestral knowledge, oral tradition, and a profound respect for land, animals, and community.

These lands hold stories, songs, and ways of life that have endured for centuries. Yet today, many Maasai families face ongoing challenges, including limited access to education, clean water, and healthcare.

Maasai Land : Red Tribe is a gesture of connection and solidarity.
More than an event, it is a night of listening — a space to reflect on distant lands and the communities whose lives remain closely bound to them.

The evening unfolds as a journey through ambient and experimental sound, featuring audiovisual performances that weave together field recordings, abstract electronics, deep listening environments, and sonic storytelling.

Like echoes across open land, each artist brings their own language — from quiet, meditative atmospheres to modular, immersive explorations of rhythm, space, and texture — alongside audiovisual performances that awaken the senses and gradually move the night towards more rhythmic, dance-driven energy.

All proceeds from the night will support Red Tribe, a charity working alongside Maasai communities in Kenya to empower the next generation through education, sustainable livelihoods, healthcare initiatives, and community-led projects.

Their work includes:
— The Maasai Academy, providing education for over 300 children
— Clean water projects improving health for thousands
— Beadwork initiatives supporting Maasai women and their families

Through sound and collective listening, we hope to create a moment of awareness, connection, and solidarity — a reminder that distant lands and communities remain part of a shared world.
