Maiorano verbinden Einflüsse aus Soul und Funk mit nostalgischen Grooves und einer ausgeprägten Popaffinität – warm, melancholisch und eigenwillig charmant.Angeführt vom in Italien geborenen Sänger und Gitarristen Alex Maiorano besteht die Band aus Alessio D’Alessandro (Schlagzeug), Nicola Battistelli (Saxofon/Keys), Mauro Martinez (Bass/Gitarre) und Emiliano Salvatore (Gitarre).

Der Sound ist geprägt von Alex’ warmem, zurückhaltendem Gesang, klaren, stark verhallten Gitarren, einer präzise eingespielten Rhythmussektion und dezenten Saxofon-Linien. Die in Berlin ansässige Band hat sich eine starke lokale Reputation erarbeitet, ist ausgewählt durch Europa getourt – unter anderem mit Say She She und Bobby Oroza – und hat zahlreiche internationale Acts als Support begleitet.

Mit ihrem dritten Album "Café Dreams" bringen sie ihre Mischung aus Funk, Soul und verträumtem Dream-Pop auf ein neues Level.

Maiorano delivers a blend of rootsy, sun-drenched pop infused with soul, funk, and groovy nostalgia. Fronted by Italian-born singer and guitarist Alex Maiorano, the band features Alessio D’Alessandro (drums), Nicola Battistelli (sax/keys), Mauro Martinez (bass/guitar), and Emiliano Salvatore (guitar).

Their sound is driven by Alex’s warm, laid-back vocals, reverb-soaked clean guitars, a tight rhythm section, and subtle, emotional sax lines. Based in Berlin, they have built a strong local reputation, toured selectively across Europe with Say She She and Bobby Oroza, and supported numerous international acts.

Their third album, Café Dreams (Irma Records), confirms their signature sound with sun-drenched grooves and soulful melodies.
