Mending (After Workshop) - Brooklyn, NY 2026

Join us for a creative journey in the heart of Brooklyn! 🗽 In this engaging workshop led by the talented Martina Cox, participants will learn the art of mending, patching, and embellishing worn fabrics through hand-stitching.

Discover a range of visible mending techniques including:

• 🎨 Traditional embroidery methods
• 🇯🇵 Japanese Boro and Sashiko techniques
• 🧵 Darning and needle weaving
• 🏵️ Kantha (running stitch embroidery)
• 🌟 Freeform and decorative stitching

Participants are encouraged to bring garments or fabric samples that need some TLC, along with any cherished scraps or adornments to incorporate into their mending projects.
