MicroPython / CircuitPython / Python for hardware usergroup - August 2026
Python is a practical and versatile programming language, beneficial for both beginners and experienced engineers. It plays a significant role in hardware development, whether for implementing firmware (using MicroPython or CircuitPython) or as a tool for hardware testing and development on PCs.
This user group welcomes anyone currently using Python with hardware or those simply curious to learn more.
Agenda:
- Introduction/tour of Bitraf (if there are any new members)
- Informal Show & Tell
- Open chatting and hacking
If you're interested in getting started with MicroPython, please bring a laptop. You can borrow a suitable microcontroller, or an ESP32 or RP2040/RP2350 device.
Feel free to share something during the Show & Tell! A brief 2-5 minute presentation on anything related to hardware and Python is welcome!
