🌌 About the Film:
Embark on a dream-like, neon journey through nighttime Taipei in Millennium Mambo. The captivating Vicky, a barmaid, finds herself torn between a possessive boyfriend and a gangster. Reflecting on her life from a decade later, she drifts through a haze of trance techno, desire, and vivid city lights.
With stunning cinematography by Mark Lee Ping-bin, this film paints a mesmerizing picture of Asia's “Nothing Generation.” Shu Qi shines in the lead role, while the pulsating soundtrack received the Best Sound Design award at Cannes in 2001.
