Minyo Crusaders, a Tokyo-based 12-piece ensemble, reimagines Japan's indigenous folk music, min’yō, through a vibrant mix of global rhythms like cumbia, reggae, and Afro-Caribbean styles. Formed in 2011, the band has gained international acclaim, touring over 20 countries and performing at major festivals. Their latest album, Tour Of Japan, showcases their evolution while honoring the rich traditions of min’yō.
