MLK Park Party

Join GR Parks and Recreation along with community partners for an amazing FREE park party at Martin Luther King Park! This family-friendly event is packed with fun activities, games, and exciting prizes, creating a perfect opportunity to celebrate summer and connect with your neighbors.

What to Expect:

• 9 a.m.: Free Line Dancing Fitness Class with Queen J
• 10 a.m.: Welcome from City Leadership
• 10:15 a.m.: Outdoor Fitness Loop Demonstrations with Victoria
• Kids’ Play Zone Opens
• 11 a.m.: Golden Shot Challenge with GR Gold and Face Painting
• Food Trucks available throughout the event
• 12 p.m.: Shot Challenge with GR Gold and multiple Water Safety Classes by Eta Pi Sigma
• 1 p.m.: Hip Hop Dance Fitness Class with VSJ Fitness, more Water Safety Classes, and Yard Games
• 2 p.m.: Continuing Water Safety Classes and CPR Teaching with the Black Nurses Association
• 3 p.m.: Event concludes, but open swim begins at the MLK Park Pool!
