Modal Music Jam @Liberál

Join us for an unforgettable Modal Jam experience! 🎵 The focus of our jams is on the rich traditional makam music that stretches from Anatolia to Central Asia, traversing the Mediterranean, Greece, the Balkans, Northern Africa, and as far as Andalusia.

Organized by modalmusic.cz, this event brings together a collective of skilled Czech musicians rooted in Western jazz and classical traditions. Our aim is to celebrate and promote microtonal modal music while reconnecting Moravian folk tunes with their Eastern influences.
