Monarch Tagging

Join us at Buxton Park to learn all about monarch butterflies! Discover their unique lifestyle, life cycle, and migration to Mexico. A Warren County Conservation Naturalist will guide you on how to catch and handle a monarch, determine its gender, and properly tag them as part of a national research project. All tagged monarchs will be released after the event.

Bring your own butterfly net if you have one, or share a net available at the park. This event is fun for the whole family!
