Start your day with a cozy, intimate gathering for fellow analog lovers! Each month, we meet at our Highland Park location to slow down, put pen to paper, and connect over a shared love of the written word.

🪄 August's Theme: Ordinary Magic

Each meetup centers around a seasonal theme with gentle prompts to inspire introspection and creativity.
August's prompts will be inspired by the daily wonders of life: the pen that writes just right, light streaming through a window on a quiet morning, or a dish that brings back fond memories.

What to Expect:

• 😌 Grounding moment and community introductions
• 📝 Guided journaling: themed prompts and journaling supplies (e.g., washi, stickers, stamps) will be provided!
• 💞 Stationery swap: Feel free to bring gently used or extra washi tape, stickers, pens, and paper goods to share or trade.

Morning: 11:00am - 12:30pm
Afternoon: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Please sign up for only one (1) time slot each month. Thanks for understanding!

Tickets:

Sliding Scale: Choose the tier that works best for you, no questions asked.

• Community: $5 (limited to 2 spots per time slot)
• Standard: $10
• Pay It Forward: $15 (covers your spot and gifts one spot to a neighbor who needs it 🤍)

All Standard & Pay It Forward tickets include a $5 shop voucher for use in-store on the day of the event!

About Your Hosts:

Paper Plant Co. is an independent stationery boutique creating a whimsical world of analog joys—one pen, notebook, and roll of washi tape at a time. Founded by Friedia Niimura, they support creativity in Los Angeles’ Chinatown and Highland Park neighborhoods. Follow their analog adventures @paperplant.co.
